No.1 Notification on the 6th World Flooring Conference
& the 23rd China Flooring Industry Summit Forum
In order to promote high-quality development of the flooring industry, adhere to the philosophy of seeking new development, coordinate enterprise innovation, encourage industrial innovation, wean "path dependence", be problem-oriented, goal-oriented, and result-oriented, promote transformation in quality, efficiency, and driving forces, overcome "shortage of skills", tap into the full potential of China's huge market and stimulate domestic demand, and explore a new way to revitalize the flooring industry, we hereby decide to convene the "6th World Flooring Conference & the 23rd China Flooring Industry Summit Forum" in Shanghai on March 23, 2020. With the theme of "adhering to new development philosophy and promoting high-quality development", the conference will gather global leaders from the flooring industry to study and analyze flooring industry demand and market, discuss building of industrial fundamental capacity and upgrade of industrial chain modernization level, innovate integrated flooring solutions, promote the service-oriented transformation of flooring manufacturing industry, and promote the overall upgrading of the flooring industry value chain.

VI. Instructions for Conference Registration
Executives, research and technical personnel from established business and institutes in the flooring industry chain (wood flooring, bamboo flooring, SPC & WPC flooring, sawn wood, wood-based panels, decorative paper, coatings, adhesives, equipment, etc.) as well as representatives from start-up business are welcome to attend the conference.
(1) Registration
Submit the registration form (attached as an appendix) to the organizing team.
(2) Accommodation and transportation
Accommodation and travel expenses shall be borne by attendees themselves. The recommended hotels can be found in the link below:

VII. Miscellaneous
Information not covered here will be released in the No.2 notification or posted in the forum’s WeChat group by the organizing team. For the following matters, please contact the organizing team, and the organizing team will give approvals based on the value of each item:
(1) Opportunities to share on stage or publish papers on journals: recommendations or self-recommendations of advancing ideas, products, technologies, equipment, and career insights are welcome to be shared on conference;
(2) Free publicity in written form: in order to encourage R&D and innovation, attendees may email the organizing team a brief on their innovation (title limited to 20 characters, content limited to 300 characters, with only 1 high-definition photo), with the email subject as “Innovation Brief+ [Name of you Organization]”. The best innovations with high-quality briefs will be selected and published in the conference journal. Deadline for submission: March 5, 2020.
